Before you start

  • A Facebook Page you administer (personal Page or Business Page)
  • A UltraPilot account (free trial is fine)
  • Browser logged in to the Facebook account that admins the Page

Setup steps

  1. Sign in to UltraPilot

    Open your UltraPilot dashboard at ultrapilot.app and click "Sign in with Facebook". You'll be redirected to Facebook's OAuth dialog showing exactly which permissions UltraPilot requests.

    • We request: list of Pages you manage, ability to receive + send messages, basic profile info
    • We never post on your behalf or read your personal messages
  2. Pick which Pages to connect

    After granting permission you'll see every Page you administer. Click "Connect" on the specific Pages you want UltraPilot to manage — your choice, never auto-grant all.

    • You can connect multiple Pages to the same UltraPilot tenant
    • Disconnect any time from the Channels page — we call Facebook's revoke API too
  3. Verify the webhook is live

    UltraPilot automatically subscribes the Page to our webhook so new messages arrive instantly. You'll see a green "Connected" indicator on the Channels page.

    • Typical end-to-end latency: under 2 seconds from customer send to your inbox
  4. Send a test message

    From a different Facebook account, send a message to your connected Page. It should appear in your UltraPilot inbox within ~2 seconds. AI suggestions are generated automatically.

Common gotchas

  • Messenger Use Case (Meta App Review) must be approved for production traffic — we handle that submission for you.
  • Pages already connected to other Messenger tools (ManyChat, Respond.io) still work, but events may be delivered to both — disconnect old tools to avoid double replies.
  • Customer 24-hour reply window applies (Meta policy) — for messages outside this window, use a tagged message template.

Once connected, you get

  • Order draft built from the conversation (product, qty, address)
  • Tracking number auto-sent back through Messenger when you ship
  • Customer profile auto-updated with conversation history
